Zdravka ...
During the first ten days of May four women were murdered in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On 2nd May on Kosevo‘s hill - the suburb of Sarajevo, Zdenko Jovanovic (45) murdered his mother Zdravka (69), in the apartment where they lived together, in Muhameda Hadzijahica Street. Neighbours heard a scream from Jovanovic's apartment, whereas later on the murderer was arrested.
The autopsy of the body revealed that the murderer maltreated his mother for a long time. Zdenko Jovanovic has been known to the administration of justice for some time, since 1983 when he was arrested for attempted murder and a rape, done a year later. In 1986 he was sentences for a joint punishment for 8 years and 2 months which he served in prison in Zenica. Just a month before this last crime, his wife, who was maltreated as well, left so he invited his mother to live with him.
Sladjana...
Sladjana Ljoljic, a graduate of the Secondary Technological School in Gradiska was killed by Miroslav Pavlovski (22) near the house where she lived. Prior to the murder, Pavlovski, from Nova Topola, had a relationship with Sladjana. He also killed Srdjan Rakovic (19), Sladjana Ljoljic‘s ex-boyfriend and then committed suicide.
The autopsy was managed by Banja Luka office District attorney on duty, Sinisa Vranjes who stated that the double murder and a suicide were committed with an automatic gun, and that the motif was "an unhappy love and previously unexplained relations."
Few persons from a circle close to the three youngsters confirmed the jealousy to be the crime motif. Pavlovski who had several conflicts with Sladjana as well as with Srdjan Rakovic, was not able to get over the break of a three-years-long relationship. Sladjana‘s father reported to Gradiska police department on 25th April that Pavlovski sent SMS massages to his daughter with insulting and threatening contents.
Miroslav Pavlovski worked as a shop assistant in "Dada" - a chicken meat shop at the entrance of the green market, while Srdjan Rakovic was a waiter in the grill "Danijela" in Gradiska.
Jovanka...
In Srbac municipality, on 9th May, Jovanka Bulovic (43) from Srbac‘s village Glamocani was killed. Her husband Predrag Bulovic (45), who committed suicide after the murder, killed Jovanka with a half-automatic gun.
A year ago, with two daughters Jovanka Bulovic left her husband for the reason of violence.
Jasminka...
In a small village near Matuzic, municipality of Doboj-Jug, on 10th May, Jasminka Tukic (38) was murdered. Consequently, the murderer - her illegitimate husband Kasim Jupic (46) killed himself with the same pistol. Jasminka and Kasim lived for almost ten years out of wedlock. Jasminka lost her husband during the war and received his pension. She had two children from the first marriage and Kasim Jupic had one child as well. Although, neighbours did not notice anything unusual that day, it has been said in the village that Jasminka and Kasim argued a lot during the last months. Kasim even left Jasminka on several occasions only to return in a short while.
